Skala Rachoni is situated on the north-west coast of the island of Thassos about 12 km away from Thassos Town. Set around a small, sleepy, traditional greek harbour front, with a few quaint local tavernas, with the village of Rachoni positioned up in the hills about 5 km away, where you can find shops and supermarkets. Surrounding the harbour front are lovely, long sandy beaches ideal for relaxing in the warm sunshine, and beautiful clear sea, which is always suitable for swimming.
